ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS
The Pasadena Sportfishing committee voted on a few changes regarding the the monthly meetings prize table.
Starting May 9, 2011—-if your ticket is drawn and you are a winner you must pick a prize or forfeit your ticket. Once you pick a prize you may keep it or give it away (strictly your choice.) If you forfeit your ticket you must tell the caller to pull another ticket.
Special thanks to all the members who gave their tickets to the children in the past; that was so generous to think of the children. The Prize Table is basically adult oriented. That’s why PSG had a special drawing for children between the ages of 5 years and 10 years. This age limit is the same guideline used for the Kids Fishing Derby.
Kids must be between 5 and 10 years old to receive tickets for the Kids Special door prize drawing. PSG regrets to inform you that all children under the age of 5 will not receive any door prize tickets or be involved in any drawings.
No child under the age of 10 will be allowed to purchase tickets from the prize table. Many ten year olds have participated responsibly in a lot of school activities including safety, eating healthy, and making sandwiches to feed the hungry.
This change is essential to keep youngsters from harm; and I have already mentioned that the Prize Table carry lots of prizes for the adult fisherman. Pasadena Sportfishing does not want to see any child hurt. In most cases the kid will pick a prize only to give it to their dad because the prizes on the prize table are not for kids.
Sorry all kids under the age of 5 years old will not be involved in any drawings.
